He has been published in national press and has been interviewed on many international news programs, including NPR and BBC. Ed previously founded the People's Opinion Project.

Michael Brown, Advisor
Michael Brown, President of Innovative Resources Management (IRM), has over 25 years of experience in natural resource management, integrated conservation and development projects, capacity building, coalition building, participatory rural appraisal and social soundness analysis. He has worked extensively throughout Africa in arid, semi-arid and tropical forest regions, as well as in Asia and the Caribbean.
Mr. Brown directed the PVO-NGO/NRMS Project (a USAID-funded consortium including World Learning, World Wildlife Fund and CARE) from 1989-97. He has served in numerous short and long term consultancies in Rwanda, Uganda, Papua New Guinea, Somalia, Haiti to name a few. Mr. Brown is Founder and President of IRM, a Washington D.C. based non-profit organization committed to meeting the complex challenges of sustainable development. |
