Kamel Mukharesh, Advisor
Mr. Mukharesh has worked for major financial institutions such as Citicorp, SAMBA, Gulf Investment Corporation (Kuwait) and State Street Global Advisors, in the context of which he founded and headed State Street Bank’s Middle East & Islamic countries regional office, controlling several billions of custody assets. In 2000 he began advising Deutsche Bank (Suisse) of which he later became Managing Director for Private Wealth Management. More recently he was founder, chairman & GM of Clariden Middle East, a subsidiary of Credit Suisse. Mukharesh is founder and CEO of MOKA (s.a.l.), which arranges JV’s between international investors and members of the Gulf and Arab finance, manufacturing, oil & gas, high-tech, media and biotech sectors.
Kamel completed his elementary and secondary education in Syria and Lebanon at the College des Freres Maristes. He earned his BS in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and MS in Engineering from Stanford University.
