Each of two major U.S.- and Europe-based foundations hired Ishtirak to write extensive headquarters siting reports for affiliate organizations.
As part of these efforts, Ishtirak looked at relevant banking and tax regulations, political, economic and bureaucratic environments, laws governing non-profit activities, real estate prices and accessibility in over 10 Middle Eastern countries to produce a ranked list of recommendations.
The final product included interviews with country managers and recruiting firms, introductions to prospective partner organizations and due diligence on designated vendors.
